Foothills Fellowship will achieve its purpose and mission by striving to reach excellence in each of the following specific area:
– Reach out to the local community by showing them that we are a caring and loving community church. This is accomplished with specific ministries attractive to our neighbors, such as our Children’s Ministry, our Youth Group, Mothers of Pre-Schoolers (MOPS), Elementary Tutoring Assistance, and a thriving Food Bank.
– Provide relevant preaching & teaching of the Word of God.
– Provide a vibrant music/worship ministry with emphasis on wide participation and an openness to both God and to one another.
– Provide a wide variety of activities and ministries for all ages, such as women’s programs, fellowship trips for a variety of groups, men’s breakfasts and retreats, youth outreach trips, etc.
– Support missionaries based world-wide, with financial assistance, prayer and inclusion in our church family and ministry.
– Offer a Scripture-based, needs-oriented Care Group ministry.
– Develop and maintain a high-energy, interactive and comprehensive website that encourages all who visit it to become active in the Foothills Fellowship Church Family.
– Stress the importance of prayer in personal and church life. Prayer is vital to everything we do in our lives and at our church. The Bible says, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” – Philippians 4:6-7
– Offer a concentrated training program that raises up individuals to become good stewards of all that pertains to living the Christian life.
