Website Features – Online Giving
Online Giving is quick, easy and convenient. It’s ideal for people who:
1) Are traveling,
2) Miss a Sunday,
3) Sometimes forget their checkbooks on Sunday mornings,
4) Like to use their credit/debit cards as often as possible for bank rewards programs, or,
5) Simply like the convenience of Online Giving, whether manually or by automatic deductions.
Also, there may be former members who live out of town who would like to support Foothills financially. Or there may be people who have become familiar with Foothills only through the website and have been led to support our church. People such as these will almost always choose to use Online Giving rather than mailing checks.
It’s easy to set up and use your Personal Contributions Account using EasyTithe, the Online Giving system we have selected. EasyTithe employs high levels of privacy and security so you can be confident when making your tithes and offerings online. With Online Giving you have anytime-access to accurate and up-to-date details of your Personal Contributions Account.
Of course, every system that provides the convenience of credit and debit cards has a cost associated with it, so when you take advantage of the benefits of Online Giving you will have the option of adding 3% to your offering to offset some of those processing costs.
Please know that the Online Giving option is truly just that, an option. Many people will want to continue to use the tried and true method of making their offerings during the Sunday Worship service. We are providing the Online Giving option to help anyone in those categories listed above.
There are copies of our Guide to Online Giving available at the Visitor Center in the foyer of the church. We encourage everyone to look through the Guide and/or to visit the Giving section here at the website. We think you will be pleasantly surprised when you do.
